Yessssssssssssss

This, I reckon, will be my favourite film of 2010. I'm so easy, really. But still... this features one of my favourite directors, and favourite actors, and actresses, and now with added Mark Strong (fast becoming a favourite character actor - he was the baddy in Stardust and Sherlock Holmes) coupled with period setting, horses and armour? Yeah. Bring it!

I am dubious. But my hopes are high. Mark Strong totally leaves me cold, though. I get no real sense of malice from him as a bad guy. I'm glad that you like him. I was all like "Is it just me?" and apparently it is. So that's good.

Ooh. Looks like they're swinging back to gritty again.

Whenever something says "the story behind the legend" I just groan. Like you know the actual story and here you are telling it.

Robin Hood is one of my favourite stories. Retelling it is fine. This doesn't look like Robin Hood, just like more Kingdom of Heaven.

Of course all I know so far is from the trailer.
